Experiments with Fiji and ImageJ

Having come across a fascinating way of interpreting luminance data in images as height on this blog, I decided to try it myself using some of my own images as well as this image of the Pillars of Creation in Infrared form the NASA website. What you see above is the result of a plug-in called 3D Interactive Surface Plot to convert 'light' into 'height'.
